Generic Checklist

This generic checklist will setup your PC and UCAP to make VOIP calls using a VOIP engine.

1. Check your PC has the minimum requirements.

2. Install the VOIP engine on your PC

4. Configure the following UCAP User Parameters: (How to set Parameter values)

User Parameter	Set To
Connection - Enable VOIP for Telephone Connections	"True"
Connection - VOIP Engine	Set to the name of your VOIP Engine (ie "FireFly"). This parameter is for information only and is not mandatory reference.
Connection - VOIP Executable	Set to the path of your VOIP Engine executable (for example - "c:\program files\MyVOIP\VOIP.exe")

Testing your VOIP connectivity

1. Create a new connection. Enter a Connect Medium of "VOIP - UCAP Reception". Enter a connect number of "UCAP_Reception". Set the connection's Connect Method to "VOIP".

2. Double click on the connection. Your VOIP Engine will connect you to our reception!
