Why doesn’t my Voce Over IP (VOIP) Connection work? A VOIP connection is created by the UCAP installation program but nothing happens when I <double click> on it. |
VOIP must first be installed on your PC, then UCAP configured to call your VOIP engine, before the combined UCAP-VOIP services will function. These installation and setup steps should not take longer than 20 minutes. Please run the Checklist - Install VOIP support for UCAP |

Which VOIP Engines does UCAP Support? |
Any VOIP, PABX or digital PBX system that can be launched through Windows TAPI and integrated into Windows can be actioned from within the UCAP environment. Systems such as Televantage which have a desk top handset can be controlled form UCAP. Simply double click on the telephone number and the handset will dial out. UCAP can also launch desktop Voip number for systems such as Engine Lite, Skype etc . |
